What sort of industry is the construction & mining area?

This industry has the full range of job environments, from the office to the factory floor to the great outdoors. Some mechanics have made their way up the ladder to run the spare parts department or become the sales manger. Other people start in selling and now teach other staff in safety, diagnostics and how to sell equipment. High school students who love computers can end up managing the company communication infrastructure or may be the remote maintenance diagnostics on million dollar equipment in remote mine sites in Australia.
