The Construction & Mining Equipment Industry Group (CMEIG) is a non-profit organisation to represent the construction and mining equipment industry and allied equipment and services on issues impacting on the delivery of business. |
Industry Statistics Working Group
Convenor: Sam Scata
The aim of this group is to:
- Liaise closely with the supplier of industry statistics to ensure details and quality of statistical reporting is at a level required by industry subscribers.
- Encourage all subscribers to adhere to the policies for the supply and collection of the statistics.
- Consult with industry subscribers on changes required to statistical reports, particularly in regard to class parameters, and make recommendations to the supplier on these matters.
- Examine methods by which statistical reporting can be improved and liaise with the supplier on having these improvements implemented
The current industry supplier for industry sales data is ERG International and CMEIG members receive a discount on the regular service.

The following equipment categories are used in Australia:

Dump truck - rigid/articulated

Landfill compactors
Earthworks models
Backhoe loaders

Skid steer loader
