The Construction Mining Equipment Industry Group (CMEIG) has introduced a guide for industry to project manage initiatives that delivers environmental, social and governance (ESG) change.
David Birrell, Chief Executive Officer at CMEIG, commented that “the objective was to produce a template that could be used by industry for sustainability projects that considered the triple bottom line of people, profit and planet”.
Russell Hodson, Executive General Manager Supply Chain (Komatsu) advised “the guide provides practical steps and a case study that can be applied to any process improvement initiative”.
CMEIG acknowledge the contribution of Russell Hodson of Komastu and Doris Pongrac of Hitachi in leading the development of the Guide.
