Almost 30 industry professionals recently attended our luncheon in Queensland to discuss industry issues. It was a great opportunity to gather together in person.
Andrew Moir, Fred Carlson, Simon Turnbull and Dean Gaedtke presented some of CMEIG’s activities, including the outstanding work our Engineering & HSE working groups are doing. CMEIG Chair, Dean Gaedtke, encourage all regions to hold similar CMEIG events (restrictions allowing) to bring local members together as well as potential new members. It is a great way of connecting locally while being part of our National body.
Shared on the day was a Standards “ready reckoner” that provides a comprehensive listing of the majority of Australian and ISO standards relevant to all industry participants wanting to understand the applicability of various standards in more details.
Also discussed were the Operator Enclosure/HVAC standards and the ongoing Engineering Working Group Projects currently underway
