Firstly, a sincere thank you to David for his kind introduction and for his dedication to the industry. Under his leadership, CMEIG has introduced many positive initiatives that have strengthened our sector.
I am truly honoured to step into the role of CEO and represent the construction and mining equipment industry. I also extend my gratitude to the CMEIG Board for their confidence in me. With over 30 years of experience supporting and servicing the construction and mining sectors, as both an equipment manufacturer and a supplier of component parts, I understand the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
My immediate focus is to connect with as many CMEIG members as possible, listening to your insights and working together to further strengthen our industry’s roadmap. As David highlighted, the external environment remains highly dynamic. To navigate these challenges effectively, we must stay proactive, adaptable, and ready to respond swiftly to ensure the best outcomes for our members and the broader industry.
