The Federal Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment & Water were seeking survey responses from individuals working with businesses in the hydrogen industry over November. It was requested by the Australian Energy Ministers Forum to:
- Understand the experience of hydrogen industry participants with industry regulation
- Use industry experience to identify priority areas for regulatory development
Hydrogen produces no carbon emissions and supports our future energy needs: it is clean, flexible, storable, and a safe fuel source. The regulatory review, which is now largely complete, will put in place legislations to help regulate the industry across Australia.
