The Civil and Infrastructure Engineering group at RMIT University is organising the first Industry Day at our city campus in Swanston street and we would like to invite you and your members to come along. The event is free.

Leaders from the Engineering Industry will join academics and government bodies to discuss practical solutions to everyday problems in an informal but stimulating environment. Five main areas of discussion have been identified; namely, Structural Materials, Geotechnics and Tunnelling, Construction Management, Structural Optimisation and Infrastructure Management.

Presentations on the latest practical research outcomes in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering will be showcased and there will be plenty of time for conversation following each of the talks.

The current fast-paced Victorian Civil and Infrastructure Engineering industry now requires some quality thought and hands-on discussion in response to the current key challenges. This session will also provide an excellent opportunity to discuss possibilities for future collaborations between academia, industry and the government.

A flyer of the event is attached. Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided.
