CMEIG Engineering Working Group were invited to present at this year’s Resources Safety and Health Queensland Mechanical Engineering Manager’s Safety Forum (held across three sessions on 2nd, 3rd and 9th November). Osama Ali was the representative who presented on behalf of the working group.
Across the three days, recent technical publications and ongoing industry collaboration efforts were shared with an audience of 200+ leaders from across the Queensland mining industry.
The presentation covered topics such as:

- Access systems
- Standards
- Glazing standards and test methods
- Emissions reduction/decarbonisation
- Autonomy and collision avoidance
- Lifting with EMM & couplers
